Around Notre-Dame de Paris

The sacred vases and liturgical objects in silver and vermeil, designed in our workshop at Viaduc des Arts in collaboration with designer Guillaume Bardet, were created for the restoration and beautification of Notre-Dame de Paris.

The Creation of Liturgical Objects for Notre-Dame de Paris

The liturgical objects created for the opening ceremony of Notre-Dame de Paris, crafted in our workshop at Viaduc des Arts in collaboration with designer Guillaume Bardet, reflect the excellence of the artisanal know-how of Maison Marischael. Designed with respect for tradition, these pieces offer a unique contemporary touch, signed by our silversmith, Nicolas Marischael. They include sacred vases, chalices, ciboria, and monstrances, each specially designed to enhance the liturgy at Notre-Dame.

Combining Tradition and Modern Design

The combination of traditional silversmithing and modern design has given birth to liturgical objects of great purity, elevated by noble materials such as solid silver and vermeil. Thanks to the collaboration with Guillaume Bardet, sleek forms have been created, adorned with subtle yet powerful details, achieving a perfect harmony between sacred art and contemporary silversmithing.

Custom-Made Pieces for a Solemn Occasion

Each piece was custom-made, taking into account the specific requirements of the ceremony, while emphasizing religious symbolism and the dignity of the location. The sacred vases with refined lines, the chalices of great elegance, and the timelessly beautiful candlesticks were created to accompany the solemn moments of Mass in the majestic setting of Notre-Dame.
