Tea Spheres
Dimensions: 18 x 20cm
Weight: 1,100g
Materials: Solid silver, handle made of courbaril (exotic wood)
Pictured piece: # 6/10
This piece was designed by Nicolas Marischaël to appear like a weightless sphere. The teapot seems to be floating above its base, to which it is fastened by only two connecting elements. The handle is made out of silver and exotic wood, following the curve of the sphere and supported by a near-invisible silver ring. The base is a hollowed out disc designed to fit on the tea set's exotic wood base. The small spout and integrated lid contribute to the overall minimalist esthetic of the piece.
